On January 31, Steve departs with two others from our community. They'll be flying to Amsterdam and then on to Kampala, Uganada, where they and 12 others from the states will work with DOVE Uganda Children's Fund.
We (well, not Steve's mom) are very excited for this opportunity for him to help out with some very needy people. He's going to be gone for two weeks and you can track his adventures at http://www.steveinafrica2008.blogspot.com/. I've put a link on the side margin so you can click there.
Steve has been spending months getting ready for this mission trip and we greatly appreciate your prayers for him and the team.

Guess things are a bit hectic with you all this week as Steve deals with all those last minute items that always crop up! Our prayers go with you Steve and with you Cindy as you are left to man the fort while he is away. Blessings Anne.
Thank you, Anne. We sure can use the prayers and God's help and guidance! This evening we packed a large suitcase with medicines (pain relievers mostly) that have been donated by folks of our church. Then we borrowed another suitcase for more medicines and toothbrushes and toothpaste. We are so blessed by the generosity of God's people!
Now Steve has to figure out how to pack all his personal goods in one suitcase. There's a challenge!
